At Harley Manuals, we sell digital, downloadable PDF service and repair manuals. Because our products are delivered instantly and electronically, our refund policy differs from that of physical goods.
1. Digital Product Nature
All manuals sold on harleymanuals.com are digital PDF files delivered instantly after checkout. Once a file has been downloaded, it cannot be “returned” in the way a physical product can.
2. When You’re Eligible for a Refund
We will issue a full refund if:
- You received the wrong manual (incorrect model, year, or engine variant) due to an error on our part
- The file you received is corrupted, unreadable, or fails to download after multiple attempts
- You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate transaction)
- The manual you purchased does not match the description on the product page in a material way
3. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will not be issued if:
- You simply changed your mind after successfully downloading a working file
- You purchased the wrong manual by mistake on your own (contact us — we’re happy to help you exchange it for the correct one, see Section 4)
- You are unable to open the PDF due to your own device or software issue (see our FAQs for format guidance)
4. Wrong Manual? We’ll Fix It First
If you ordered the wrong model, year, or section by accident, contact us before requesting a refund. In most cases, we can simply send you the correct manual at no extra charge rather than process a refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email us at [email protected] or use the contact form at harleymanuals.com/contact within 7 days of purchase, including:
- Your order number
- The email used at checkout
- A brief description of the issue
We review every request personally and respond within 1–2 business days.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
